These pictures are of the installation of the GMMG Chambered Exhaust on my 2000 SS.

The finished product? After the exhaust was installed I slipped the SLP dual/dual tips on and had a look. As you can see in the pictures I'm not using those tips. I think I like the one-pipe-on-each-side look better. This particular version of the Chambered exhaust is made to be used with some sort of exhaust tip. The tailpipes are a bit shorter to allow for the length of the tips. I think I'm going to get some 2 and 1/2 inch 304 stainless pipe, polish it up a bit, and extend the pipes out to just under the bumper (stock position.) I'll use band clamps to butt connect the extension pipe to the tail pipe. The clamps should be hardly noticeable with the clamp bolt turned to the top of the pipe.

I like the look of the exhaust the way it is too and so far there aren't any problems from exhaust gases being expelled a little ahead of the back bumper. So I'm not in a rush to do anything except enjoy my SS with this awesome exhaust.
The car comes to life with a growl now. Idle is a nice deep rumble. Its loud under acceleration. Especially so under hard acceleration. And its quiet when just cruising in 5th or 6th gear. Overall the sound is reminiscent of the 60's and early 70's muscle cars. Very sweet!
